The show "Hidden Clark County" consists of a group of black and white urban landscape photographs. All images were taken in and around Vancouver, Washington over the past several years. Often tinged with a sense of mystery, irony, or simple whimsy, the images are more than documents of particular places, they are also visual evidence of humankind's hand on the landscape.
Strouse has been making traditional photographs for over 30 years. He is self taught and continues to use film and silver based media to print his negatives. He is currently a full time student at WSU Vancouver pursuing a Digital Technology and Culture degree.
